About LinkBacksMy PA H and I have been tirelessly looking for a therapist/specialist for counseling (separately and together) and a 12-step group (either SAA or the like).
1. There is NOTHING in our area! We are still looking, but it is pretty discouraging
2. Scheduling issues with the counselor we are finally going to try prevent me (the SO) from being able to go the first time. We hoped to go together first, and set up a treatment plan, etc.
3. I got an email address for an "internet support group" through S-Anon, but they are not replying.
4. My PA H has sent many emails to the contact of the closest SAA group. Its been THREE weeks and no reply.
Any guidance would be appreciated.
