Why has the link been removed? I found the site to be useful and did not seem to having any inappropriate content. As far as I can tell, there is no rules against posting a link to another site unless it is an "attempt to advertise a product or service" in which case prior approval is required. Since this does not fall under the above, I do not see why the site was removed. Could you please clarify.

Well that is the point. I am not trying to advertise a product or service (which is a prereq for the requirement for approval). So I do not see how this rule applies in this case.
