Apology

I have only just realised, and forgive me for being such a slow top, that I owe an apology not just to RiG but to TFF as a whole for my post yesterday.
My apology is for those of the TTF community whose sense of equilibrium and sense of safety was affected.
I am thankful for what TTF provides and my very public post was not at all the sort that promotes what TTF provides

Apologize if you want to, but I don't feel like you attacked anyone personally. You posted your feelings, sometimes raw, sometimes not pretty, but they were your feelings. I think you are often very sensitive and caring here and that shows even through your hurt. You make GH accountable, but you are still fair and loving.

Several people think the recent tension on the boards is all because of them. So, if you think its you, other people think its them. I think its just a natural cycle seen on these boards. People in new situations or new to recovery or new to stages or recovery have very raw emotions, and that's what happens here sometimes. We will all work through it.

I admire you for posting this AV, but I want to say that I think you are true, honest, open and passionate. You are also amazing. I think your posts were a reaction to a perceived attack, and I feel as if you handled it very well considering.

Having said that...

I want to apologise to anyone I have offended on TTF. Sorry to anyone who I have hurt or caused upset. I really do not ever intend to be mean to anybody or insensitive to anybody. Sometimes, I screw up though, and if that has impacted upon anybody I unreservedly apologise.

This entire issue is filled with emotion and it's hard not to let those show. We can't say that a feeling is wrong ... it's just a feeling. It's real.

I'm sure I have trampled, offended, and po'ed many people on my journey. At times it devastated me to think that's what I did. I do try to soften things a little sometimes, but I won't apologize for expressing my true feelings. That's what I'm here for.

And that's what you're here for. Safety has never been anything more than a quaint illusion.
