Default Human are we not ???

Life has a nice way of helping us forget who we really are.

It used to be you met with people face to face, could see their body language and how they react to the intellect of a conversation.

The INTERNET brought about, a way of efficient communication at the speed of light. It also allowed persons to manipulate and present a truth to others that may not really be true or be false in a attempt to manipulate a group of persons.
The reader assumes that the success of a leader in their conversation is based solely on how they behave online.
In a reality this too is not true.

These people can tend to suffer from depression and anxiety disorders because of a pre formed negative assessment of themselves. Such an assessment could be attributed to various reasons such as a prolonged mental trauma, social aloofness and low self esteem. This will in cases be reflected to the comminication of the leader of a conversation.

When others will take to the air-waves, or INTERNET to extend their views. It is crucial the reader or listener is not biased by influences of commonalities. These commonalities could be support from same sex, nationality, sexual orientation, or religion.
Belonging or having commonality of one group, the reader /listener should be wary to make sure to support their own unbiased view as to give The best possible outcome without harming others.

I for one am human and breath like everyone else,
it is careful to be aware what we breath in and breath out.(flwr1)

Seriously RIG, can you stop the ominous passive-aggressive cryptic puzzle posts and tell us what the heck is on your mind?

We want to support you RIG, TTF is a great community where you can seek real support, but you are making it hard! I wanted to ignore this but I felt that it was best to offer you a hand, and show that you were listened to at least a bit.

What is going on RIG? Tell us so we can support you or at least solve the problem.

      Life only comes once,
Respect your fellow human being, treat them fairly, disagree with them honestly, enjoy their friendship, explore your thoughts about one another candidly, work together for a common goal and help one another achieve it.
One does not bring a shovel to help bury a body, however one should bring a shovel to plant flowers.
At the crossroads, one direction will close the heart, one may close the mind, one will leave some questions and one will lead to a dead end. In life one most choose wisley, as a person can change the color of coats they wear, but not the mind they share.

Wow...RIG, I wish I had the intellect and mental capacity to actually absorb and understand that post. But clearly I do not. I clicked on this thread thinking it was some Yoda'isms

So I will just respond to your title, so that it is not a completely pointless post.

I have to agree with rosie. I read your posts, hoping maybe I can be of some help to you, but I come away having not the slightest idea what you're getting at, or why you're saying what you're saying. If you have something to say, could you please put it in context, so the rest of us can understand it? Thanks.

I guess to put it clear and it is directed more to to te So's of the addict. Let s be honest here, there are few if any that come to this forum with clean hands.

The adddict is out front and clear of why they are here, the SO's not so much as it will bounce from judgement to bashing of the addict.

My point is we are all human and I am very sure other issues are going on with SO's as well. But in this forum they are free to say what ever they want no matter how hurtful it is to the addict.

See they are here, because they are hurt. Yet they do not care often who is hurt here by their words ?

So to close we are humans here, and the SO's are not better. They are different, they come with baggage to this forum too.

(PS I have no idea what Rosie said Phil, she is on my ignore list just too much drama for me to swallow, sorry but I do not get sucked into stuff like that I am a self thinking individual. )
I have to stay clean as my life depends on it, no drama there it is reality for the addict.

      RIG,
I have to say, I am still baffled by what you are referring too.

I am an SO. My husband has been in recovery since September of 2009.

I am ALSO an addict. I have been clean and relapse free for 16 years now.

So, while you say that SOs come here with baggage, you are right in some ways. However, I think you are missing the main goal of recovery for both PA and SO here at TTF. The goal is for both addict and partner to come to understand this addiction. Together.

I don't see any SOs who come here under any kind of false pretense. They are here for support. I also see SOs here who support and do not judge nor place blame.

I would ask that you refrain from making generalized statements about the SOs here at TTF. Those types of statements are counter productive to all.

If you have a concern with a specific member, or a specific SO, or a specific post, please feel free to PM one of the Moderators or Administrators and someone will assist you as soon as possible.

      Hi Chrisodian,

No problems here other then what I have written Admin.
      Unfortunetly,
I have written Admin and no response to my concerns as of yet.
I do realize people are busy but I have been asking for several weeks. So not sure what to say, I am not getting help as of this time, so this assisted in me mistuderstanding the group.

It's your forum and I will respect the rules.
I am going to keep my sobriety but step back a bit from posting as not to affend anyone as it seems that is a concern.
My apologies to anyone you feel I may have affended.

Part of my recovery in AA and NA allows me the freedom to share
what bothers me in my recovery. That is what I was used to. Seriously I misunderstood that the group was for addicts. I see it is for both so there is a limit of what Addicts can say I thought this was more of a recovery group. I am an addict not perfect as I am clear in my posts.

Thank you for your help in clarifying what rules I must follow.
Hopoefully I will learn something from being here.

      Have and outstanding day :)
