      Default With a Heavy Heart

All day I have prayed for God to help me find the words to say here. I post this with a heavy heart. I have been reading posts on here all day on this site that worry me. It seems to me that all this started with someone posting something in a negative way on someone else's thread or journal. Now religion is being brought into this also. My Friends, this needs to stop before things get out of hand. We are all here for two things Healing & Recovery. It looks to me, we lost focus on our goal here to be P-free. It doesn't matter to me if your a believer or non-believer in God or higher power. I consider everyone a friend. Whether I know you or not. I have almost lost one family & I don't think I can handle losing another, which is what all of the members here are to me. MY ONLINE FAMILY. Everyone here is entitled to believe what they want & I respect that. I just don't want us fighting among ourselves. P is the real enemy. If I'm out of line by saying these things. I will take whatever punishment the moderators see fit to give me, but I had to get this off my heart. I love you all & take care of you & each other.

I think it's a storm in a tea cup. Don't let it divert you MEM. You are strong and you know where you're going and why you are here.

I have no idea what is going on and no longer care. Recovery is the focus of the site, recovery and healing and support. Anyone who is trying to divert from that is only harming themselves, nobody else. Don't let it get to you.

      Take care MEM,

      MEM-

I agree, let's get back to recovery. If someone is upset about it, deal with it. :) Part of the recovery journal is about being active and communicating, so maybe this is a lesson for some of us.

But holy cow, Matthew, way to give someone a jump. A thread title like yours is typically a relapse post. I opened your post with a heavy heart, but I am glad to see you are still maintaining your journey.

Its hard to quit something when you just like it so much. I have that problem with ice cream, but I can run off ice cream. Can you run off P?

      Matthew
I say thank you for putting this here. I too am very concerned about the coldness i feel at times here. I feel that we just need to get on with our recovery, and helping others with theirs. If there is something going on that needs to be looked at, I guess we should just leave it in the hands of our much SKILLED MODS to handle it. Yes it is not encouraging to be fighting among ourself here, for that can take away the joy from coming here, but there is nothing we can do to change the way some people feel. There are many times with a person types something, that it may be read in a bad way. The person who wrote it may not have meant any harm with what they was saying, but it was just taken bad by the reviving party.

But i do agree, that we need to get on with what we are here for, that is getting help. and helping others. I do not know where I would be today if It wasn't for my TTF, family. I LOVE EACH OF YOU THAT ARE HERE. I have gotten nothing but Encouragement and Support form TTF, and i want to to continue that way.

So lets not allow what ever is going on here by only a few people, to let it get in the way of our RECOVERY, because that is the main reason for us to be here
