No pikelets !

DA-DA-DAAAAAAAA ! Not a pikelet in the house.....Iv'e got some crackers, but they're not the same! Iam in a tizz, love those pikelets.....what to do ?

Well , I do sort of like crackers , I suppose in the absense of pikelets they could be even more satisfying?

Digs pikelet wrapper out of bin;

Yay ! Crackers have less fat......hmmph....those pikelets were making me a fat bear.

Thinks;

From now on , it's crakers with lemon curd for me.

And he ate happily everafter.

Things seem very much more on an even keel now. The crackers are a lovely replacement. They are also nice (crackers) broken up and in a mug of OXO , mmmmmmmm!

Hello there Misty,InNeed and Cupcake. Always good to see you (tips hat). I am coping well with the cracker replacement diet thankyou.
I do wonder if it is possible t get OXO cubes in the US ?....They are very nice for growing bears.

My food heaven list, by Padintun ber esqeer........Mash n beans. Lemon curd on crackers. Crackers in OXO. Boiled egg with soldiers. Cornflakes with soya milk. Milk loaf with peanut butter. Crackers, Crackers with jam.Crackers with humous and , er , yes , crackers !

Add Bangers and mash or mince and tatties and I'm all over that list :)
We get oxo here in Canada, and my good Scottish Gran used to make sure we were regularly pumped full of it.
Also, what are your thoughts on Marmite on crackers? That is myweakness second only to Heinz Curry Beans and followed by a packet of Walkers. YES, odd, but most of my family is from the UK, so much of our grocery shopping was done at Mark's and Spencer's before they pulled it out of Canada :( Now I must pay ridiculous prices at the little import shop to indulge these ridiculous cravings... BUT OXO and crackers are available at the dollar store down the road!
