Porn seeking and self-gratification....giving in to animalistic urges.
I gave the example of a group of grabbing 3 year olds
," coveting thy neighbors' goods"...
The Bible focused this commandment at a man desiring another man's wife....but the analogy holds true.
Thou shall not covet thy neighbor's goods....
Humans learn or should learn how to control their urges if they want to live within a social circle, culture or family.
Commandments for Humans with urges:
No burping while engaging in converstation with others...or during a television interview.
No scratching that annoying itch in your nose or below the belt ...
while out in public or in front of co-workers, or any person that you might like to engage with in the future.
No taking what doesn't belong to you, regardless of how badly you need it; whether it is a handicapped parking spot and it is pouring rain outside, or thirsting for your co-worker's diet coke, which he left in the group refrigerator for over a week.
NO...control the urge to please yourself... while disregarding others.
Control your urges... that's what distinguishes man from lower primates. We do not scratch, burp, steal, or mb at will, when we have the urge.
We, as an evolved species, control our urges. ( hopefully )
