Question WYSYWIG editor - 07-15-2008, 02:05 PM
I dont seem to be able to change colours of my text anymore. I click the arrow for the pull down menu on the font colour, but its shows no options to select.

Firefox 3.0

I have the same problem. I'm also not able to change the font type.

Hmmmm....Safari is behaving the same here, with all the colour options missing. However font type (and as far as I can see everything else) is fine.

when I load the "reply" screen, the only error I get is this:

Warning: Cannot specify value for internal property. Error in parsing value for property '-x-system-font'. Declaration dropped.
Source File: http://www.throughtheflame.org/forum...quote=1&p=9222
Line: 1

:Line one at the top of the page is just a comment, saying that its html, its w3 and all that jazz, I don't know why its returning that. My firefox addon is telling me that error is a css error. that very wel lcould be the problem, because normally theres supposed to be a box around the text formating buttons (so I thought) and the box to the right of the one I'm typing in that says "smiles" has a boarder and the boarder isn't properly aligned, so it very well could be a CSS error, even thought it seems it would be more like a java error, but I think if the x-system-font error got fixed, that would be fixed to.

Hi Sybil,

If you want to quote a post in the same thread, then you navigate to the post you want to quote from, and press on the 'QUOTE' button. This then automatically takes you to the bottom of the thread and starts a new reply for you with the quoted text in.

If you wish to quote a post from a different thread, navigate to the post you want to quote from, then click the button on the right of the 'QUOTE' button (which looks like 2 pages of paper) Then navigate to the thread you want to post in, and click NEW REPLY, at the bottom of that window, you will see in red text, select text, click the red text, and the quoted text will appear in your window.

If you are still unclear, please post back, and I will try and get some screenshots for you.

FM
