      Default bot restrictions?

      Admin, or a moderator,

      Are the bot searches restricted on the site at all?

      I know that any guest can see any posting, but don't really want every posting arriving on Google....

      Seeing how we get inundated with the bot searches in our user stats I was wondering what they are all doing?:)

      they just go thru to all the accessable pages to organize for there search engines even error pages. They only have as much access as a guest user.

      which is another reason we ask people not to use their full name for their nickname. If they post in these fully open forums, then their name will be out there. Its partially for anonymity.
