| Debates and heated topics on TTF -

We need to clearly map out protocol regarding debates and heated topics moving forward at TTF.
First, TTF is here for support and help in recovery from PA, which is the focus of the site. It should also be the focus of the conversations and discussions here.
Members are bound to have differing opinions of what is right and wrong, religious and ideological points of view, etc. As is stated on the front page, at TTF we encourage different views and ideas and do not want to censor anyone unless it clearly violates our rules. We don't care what religion you belong to, or about your sexual orientation, your race, etc., but we do care that you treat each other with respect, courtesy and kindness. That is the heart of TTF and those who do not comply are not welcome here.
We must always remember to focus on the commonalities between us, what brings us together, which is a team effort to support one another in the PA arena. Even in this common effort there will be different points of view, approaches to take, and ideas about what is acceptable or not. As a member of this site we must all agree to respect one another's differences and focus on the things we have in common and on supporting each other.
Heated debates that are potentially controversial or theoretical will be moved to the off topic forum moving forward. If you feel that a thread has turned into something of this sort please notify a moderator or admin and we will assist in moving the posts to their own thread in the off topic forum.
TTF reserves the right to delete any thread or post, but we do our best to not abuse this power unless members are clearly exhibiting hateful, divisive, or belitting remarks, comments or other content.
Thanks everyone, please respond if you have any questions or comments about this policy. |
