Just a few small things to note:-

External Links

Over the last few months, we have noticed a slight increase in members creating posts with external links to other sites. As mentioned in the site rules, if you wish to post a link you will need to gain permission from a member of the TTF Team.

While the direct links that have been removed are actually sharing fairly good articles, or linking to informative and educational online videos, TTF takes the responsibility that this site will always be a safe haven for PA's at a time of weakness. If a member happens to stumble across a post linking to an external video site in which they can watch a video about the effects of P for examlple, what we cannot control is all the advertising, and "other suggested" videos that may be dotted around that site. Therefore this is deemed as a potential trigger.

Another example is that just a couple of weeks ago we removed a link to a very good article from a tabloid papers website. Sadly, right at the end of the article was a link to a casual adult dating site!

While many may think this stance we take is slightly over the top, I would hope you appreciate that over the years we have not lost sight of our primary objectives to offer the best possible help for those effected by PA, and offering a calming and safe place on the internet which in itself is a rarity these days.

Christmas / New Year Holiday Season

As many of you new we have a team of fantastic moderators who volunteer there own personal time to effectively manage this site on a daily basis, help users with queries, and group together to keep this site fresh and interactive to enable members to get the very best from TTF.

Obvioulsy during holiday seasons, as a moderating team we can be a little thin on the ground, and we may not catch spammers and innapropriate posts as quickly as we always would, so again I would ask you as members, this being YOUR site, to assist in the best way you can in that if you do find a post offending, or innappropriate, please do help us to enforce the rules.

To do this you can either:-

a) Click on Report Post icon, (top right icon on every individual post)

b) Send a private message to Admin2, Vorlan, Crisodian, Daniel or Jenmac (or all) and detail the issue and provide link to the post in question

As always if you have any questions, concerns or suggestions, please do not hesitate to send me a private message or feel free to post openly in the forum help section.
