Chat Schedule

Use this thread to establish the Chat schedule for groups and times to meet.

Proposed groups:

General Group (everybody invited)
PA Men only (PA men only)
Spouses only (spouses of PA only)

What do you guys think? What would be a good time and date for everyone to meet? This might be tough since we live all over the world...

I hope its ok to post here.....just wanted to add my thoughts....

maybe sometime at the weekend, then at least whatever time we arrange at least people would be off work and available? i am in the UK but would go into chat anytime if it was arranged beforehand.

Hi admin,

I think this is a great idea too, although I probably won't be able to participate too much if it's on the weekends, since that's when I'm usually visiting my girlfriend, so I tend to be pretty busy then. Could we just have a few chat forums running 24/7, so that people can chat with one another spontaneously, whenever they feel they need (or have time for) someone to talk to?

Just a quick note to you guys, until we get the chat schedule module working (a new feature coming soon), I would encourage you to set up your own chats:

1) Use the chats forum to post a new thread when you are interested in chatting, and from there members can reply to the thread if they will attend or not.

Suggested chat thread format:

Name of your chat - day of the week, month, day - time (in your timezone)

All members welcome chat - Monday, March 21 - 8:00 pm PST

2) Timezones are tricky, but you can use this website to help you out:

Clearly after using the time zone tools, I can see that we are going to have trouble gathering everyone from around the world at all the chats. We'll have to work this out as we go...

I like the idea of different chat groups. But, don't forget, women are PAs too. Any chance you'll start a Women's Only chat group in the future?

HI Vilema, I assure you that we have not forgotten about female PA's It was a concious decision at first, as the majority of PA, on this site are male, and in the space of several months have been 3 female PA's this includes yourself. Of which currently only you are active. As soon as the female membership of PA's grow, Admin will be able to easily add another female only chat room.
