Today is day 181...
So now I enjoy almost 1/2 a year with sobriety. :D
At first I measured sobriety in days. Then I measured in Weeks, now I measure in months. I look forward to measuring my life without addiction.

Thats a huge success. An encouragement to all of us that it can be done.

Thank you all for your wonderful comments. I am truly grateful for your support and inspiration.
This road can be walked free and clear. Living clean can be accomplished. Albeit the road is sometimes bumpy, but as long as you can get your mind set and focus on what is important. You will be successful.
There are many here I look up to. Members who have gone over a year with sobriety. Daniel, Vorlan, foolishmind etc. and I look to them as proof that my addiction can be beaten.
Also, I want to say a special thank you to Pandora and Statler who have helped Crisodian and I many times and are great friends now.
Thanks again everybody! ^:)^

Congratulations on your success ArtGuy. I'm so impressed that all the while you were conquering this PA, you still took time out to help anyone who asked for advice. You certainly helped me out alot, back in Nov and Dec.
I haven't healed yet, but my conception of the whole mess has turned to forgiving the sickness/addicted aspect; it truly is addictive...physically & mentally... and very isolating addiction, so it continues to flourish in secret, causing more guilt and shame.
I hope that you continue to post here to help others, like Daniel and Dave and others. It really is encouraging to see men conquer this and take control back from that demon.
Happy..Happy..Happy.. for you, your wife and all of your new dreams.
