Good for you, for realizing at a young age you have gone down the wrong path, and trying to get back to the right one. The longer you leave it, the harder it is, so now's a great time to let that habit go. I like that idea someone mentioned of thinking about what sort of person you want to be. I'm 35, and I can think...when I'm 45, do I want to be sitting around surfing for porn, feeling dissastified, anxious and unsettled, making myself miserable and those around me too? Or do I imagine a different future for myself? Maybe for you it is how you will be when you are 25 or 30....and realizing you can't have it both ways is good. Like you can't act one way and expect to be different from that in the future.
Thinking long-term is good...but of course, you can only ever realize it right now!
