Welcome to the board PressingOn! Your story sounds a lot like mine. I'm not married, but I have battled porn use in much the same way you described. In the past, when things have been going well, I tend to forget that I am susceptible to this problem, and it pops up and hits me out of the blue. If I am not on top of things, then I give in to the temptation and the cycle starts all over again. I use it once..then more frequently until it is a serious problem.

But posting to boards like this has given me a positive outlet to vent my frustrations and get support, and I find that when I am tempted I come here and post and before you know it the temptation passes. After reading some of the stories posted here, I am reassured that using porn is not an acceptable way for me to go on living and is a healthy does of reality compared to the messages that popular culture send our way daily.
