Welcome to the 60 Seconds Interview Thread

We are pleased to annouce the launch of the '60 Seconds' thread - which is ultimatley a no holds barred interview with YOU...the members. Each week or sometimes fortnightly, a member will be selected and asked if they are happy to take part. A time will then be scheduled, where an online chat will take place, either via the TTF chat interface or by MSN or an alternative preffered chat client.

The chat session will take no longer than 2 minutes, of which 60 seconds worth will be questions fired at you. The responses will be recorded with slight editing of excessive "erm's and aahs" etc.

The interview will then be placed in this forum, and each interview will have a separate thread, of which other members can then comment below the published interview.

The interviews will initially be conducted by myself for a certain period of time, after which the TTF team (currently: Rowlf, Vorlan and Crisodian) will also be assisting me and carrying out interviews.

To kick this off, FoolishMind has kindly accepted the daunting task of going first, on the condition that Vorlan would be next, My negotiation skills are to be desired and therefore accepted his terms.

So the first Interview with FM took place on Saturday 26th June, and this will be published shortly.

I have read the first two "60 Seconds" and thoroughly enjoyed them! Thanks for a great idea, and for the willing answers to some tough questions. I can't wait to read more "60 seconds" :)

@ Alika - Thats great Feedback Alika, thank you, but next interview will be in a week or so.

@ F-P - Its not voice chat no as this would be a little uncomfortable and not always appropriate. We call it 60 seconds as if it was spoken, it would fall within 60 seconds, whereas in actual fact, we have to allow for typing time, and internet delays etc, so interview can actually take between 2 and 10 mins, dependent on typing speed etc.

Maybe as a suggestion we should have a "who would you like to see interviewed in 60 seconds" thread? Members could nominate others they would like to see interviewed?
